| I found a pair of those myself!
TRU also had some repackaged Cult Classics. I FINALLY got a Sam from Trick r' Treat! I don't know if the original had a base, this one doesn't. They also took the base out of the Lost Boys David re-release (kind of ominous seeing that figure again the day Corey Haim died) Also in the re-release mix was the red tux Beetlejuice & Jason from the FvJ box set.
I didn't get any of the 2 for $10.99 IM2 because all they had were a whole lotta Mark II's.

| I knew there was a third marvel 2 pack. I saw a tiny picture on one site and couldn't make it out. http://www.entertainmentearth.com/prodinfo.asp?number=HMV33256A
I'll be looking for these tomorrow along with those Heman/Dc packs.

| I think its a horrible idea to mix DC with MOTU. I wouldn't want to buy another superman to get He man.
Saying that there's at least there is a chance of me picking up a loose he-man cheap from ebay
Whatever next X-men vs Star Trek?

wait. why did u pass??? They're just too expensive (both would've been over $60)...and the MOTU repaints are kinda silly. I'd like an extra Supes too but I'll wait for the DCUC re-release w/button. So far I've only seen Batman at TRU. The grappling hook he comes with is pretty sweet but it's the same black & grey one from the Clayface 2-pack.

| I guess. My comic shop already has the Supes in, and supposedly Green Arrow & Power Girl are also part of the re-release.
UPDATE: saw the latest Secret Wars 2-packs. I haven't been buying them, but I got Nightcrawler & Mohawk Storm. I wanted Doom & AbsMan too but I didn't see them.
Also found the Mark V Iron Man. It's the red & sliver suit from the briefcase scene in the trailer.

| I got these from Hasbrotoyshop.com for a reasonable price. The only thing one of my Night Crawlers head is loose in package. I'll need to find that one again to exchange. It would be totaly fixable if I were an opener. I was just about to leave the 24 hr Wal-Mart late at night when the lady, who I could tell was getting agitated with me constantly circling the skids of toys, put these out. Captian America, Bucky, & the Black Widow are all one per case. | |

| Yeah I think I'll hold out for a case on Matty. But I still want to find a glow-in-the-dark variant! And I found all those new MU figures today at TRU (no Black Widow...shit!) Thor looks pretty badass (except for his smushed in nose) so I ended up getting him. And I found a GG Clash of the Titans Medusa figure for 20 bucks at my comic shop. Very sweet deal. I'm sure I paid much more for The Kraken. Just in time for me to give the middle finger to that shitty ass remake I'm being forced to go see. | |

| Yeah I was disappointed in Alice. I thought it would be a cool twist on the book, but it was like "Tim Burton's Narnia" instead. I think Depp needs to take a break from him for a while.
Ok on to Clash of the Titties....Oh there were definitely a lot of things that kept me from enjoying it for what it was...
1. Worthington is such a non-actor. He adds no personality or character to any role he's ever done. Yet Hollywood is for some reason dropping leading man roles in his lap & expecting him to carry big budget films. It wasn't so obvious in Avatar, except for the times he basically gave up trying to hide his Aussie accent, but yeah he was just all wrong to play Perseus. I mean, he came across as just a big pouting wuss whining about doing everything "AS A MAN!" You've got gifts from the GODS, you butthole, whatever happened to "never questioned, simply accepted" from the original?? I was hoping the dreadlocked dude would just cut his friggin' head off and do everything himself. Even the long haired dude seemed more lively than Perseus. WTF up with that??
2. The Bubo cameo was insulting. He was my favorite part about the original, but since Worthington demanded he not be part of the remake, they just put him in as a "fuck you" joke. And Pegasus was also thrown in as an afterthought. And I still can't understand why he was black?
Other than that some of the other stuff was pretty cool, like Ralph Feinnes as Hades, or the Medusa chase scene, or the new F-ed up version of the Ferryman. I thought Letterier would do better than this. He had so much cool Gods & Mythology stuff to play with, but it's like he had no fucking clue what to do with any of it!
And why did they drop the love story with Andromeda? I wanted to see more Gemma Artherton but instead got the creepy ghost chick that got killed then - HAHA! Not dead after all! And the last part..."Oh I think I love you, mister I only met you for 10 seconds after both my parents were killed right in front of me! Won't you stay?" and he's all like *in thickest accent possible* "nawh mate, I've got teh git back to me fishin'...and learnin' teh live like a man, not stay here and haves teh sexy with ya and rules yer kingdom, yer matey!"
*sigh* anywayyy...found the Kilowog wave except for Question & Deadman. Yay progress?
And if you haven't read "The Losers" yet...go for it! Buy the trade. I read it and it's pretty damn badass. I hope the movie does it justice! I also read the "Kick Ass" hardcover. It's cool but there's definitely room for improvement. And hopefully Matthew Vaughan did just that.

| I ordered two cases of DCUC Dark Sied on BBTS and they haven't come in yet. I e-mailed them and never got a reply.
So I held off ordering from Matty.com becuase of the way they were being shipped. Only in the flimsy Mattel Box with no added protection. Now they sold out and I'm still Dark Siedless.
