US Toy finds

got a NECA T2 cyberdine showdown fig. great fig, awesome accessories! my one complaint is the paint on the face.

I'm pissed I missed Battle Cat, but the Brain of Morbius, Sutekh's mummybot, and Larfleeze with Glomulus kinda makes up for it.

I keep meaning to get that figure, I wanted to chose it in a shop rather than buy it online cos of the QC issues and from what I've read some of the assault cannons have been painted silver. I've only got the battle damaged Endo and the 18" Endo from this line they're both good, not brilliant. I'm really pleased that NECA have decided to do the T1000. I'm hoping they get a license to do the original as well.

No worries, though. Mattel already said they will go back into production & offer them again soon.
I did get my order for Man-At-Arms. Sucks I missed out on the 12" Zod. Especially since they'll be making Chris Reeve Supes & Hackman as Luthor.

Oh and I found new DC 2-packs at TRU today. Good news is GL/Abin Sur & Cyborg Supes/Mongul are shipping again w/the Lex/Supergirl.
The bad news is the price has gone up to $29.99, $5 more than what I remember paying for the Batman/Clayface.

That price does suck.

I was debating on weather or not to get Zod. I guess they made up my mind for me.
I bought the MM Joker and The JLU 4 pack. I totaly missed the Bruce Wayne and Harvey Dent. So I know how you feel, I don't like the sale date idea. They should take pre-orders for atleast a couple of weeks, limit people to like 2, and then open it up for more.

That's what I & a lot of people have been saying. Mattel responded by saying it's mainly to help international customers save on shipping. And their claim is that rarely do any US customers ever order the full maximum. Most just order 2 or 3 of one figure.

Kinda find that hard to believe. Someone can easily blow $200 a month on figures and double their money by turning around & double their money by capitalizing on collector anxiety.
I mean how else do online sites like BBTS get their hands on so many then mark up the price?

Oh and don't worry if you missed out on any DK movie masters. TRU is also carrying the line beginning in April.

Something tells me Zod will probably come back before too long, most likely when the others start coming out.

Another thing about MOTU, Mattel plans the line for the next few years, so two things will happen: more will be produced to avoid 10 minute sell-outs (She Ra is supposedly the first to see an increase), and just about everyone will get 2nd & 3rd production runs. So even if you missed Man-At-Arms again, more then likely you'll get another shot, even if you have to wait a year.
And honeslty, so far the only 2010 figures I'm really wanting so are Evil Lyn, She-Ra & Gy-Gor. Maybe Moss Man & Whiplash. The others like Optikk, Keldor & Tytus are an easy pass for me.
I just want the ones I had growing up. Ram Man, Buzz Off, Stinkor, Man-E-Faces, Jitsu etc.

So far the only IM2 figures I got were Mark I & Iron Monger (can't wait to repaint them!) & Crimson Dynamo from the comic series.
I think I'll also get the Target Hall of Armour sets when they come out.

Found some good clearances at Target this week...The Big TIE Fighter now down to $19.99 & the GI Joe Rhino for $24.95 & the Snow Job double set for $19.98
The Star Trek bridge is also down to $19.99 at TRU, which I've always said would go wonderfully with either Joe or a Star Destroyer setting.
and I sooo can't wait for the Scout Walkers to come down at Wal-Mart! Still forty bucks near us!

Yep I got lucky with the Spectre I found him at walmart with most of the rest. Including White Mary Batson but returned her when I realized the two sets I orderd from BBTS included her. Spectre on the other hand was no garuntee which one you were going to get. So I couldn't pass on him.

Somebody on the POTF2 site I go to got lucky with the AT-ST clearanced to $15
And Star Trek 3 3/4 $.50!!!!
So far I have only seen Dewbacks down to $15

I did manage to see Snow Job two Packs at Target go down to $6.47 but didn't have any money for the next three days. The 15 that were there were all gone three days later. Probably 1 day.

The past week I did see another batch at a diferent Target but they were only $12.something

I bought some Spideys today at Walmart. I would have bought all of them but wouldn't you know it somebody ran them through a meat grinder before putting them on the pegs.

I saw the new Speeder Bike packs at TRU but why did they reapaint them light grey??

Crap! I'm looking for that. I think they want to push this notion of a Hoth Speeder for some reason.

Yeah it doesn't make sense, though, since the Big AT-AT already comes with one.
If I see one again I'll pick it up. Let me know if you need it, otherwise it'll be time to do some repainting!

I also noticed Wal-Mart has the IM2 figures now, at the best price ($6.88) but so far I've only seen the movie assortments.

The one I saw in San Diego was good. The one they showed on their site last week looks too cartoony.

And like the fiasco last year he'll come with something you won't get with the online version.

That series 12 DCUC isn't actually a box set like the Walmart 5 pack is it?

I've been trying to get the MM on the site, I missed the Harvey Dent and Bruce Wayne.

I picked up a crap load of IM2 figures tonight at Walmart.
I hate when I'm right. I was missing 21 figures from the set I bought the other night.
I found 1-13 tonight and took 2 display boxes. You would think amoungst all the lame armor versions of the same figure we could get a fan appreciation Vault Guardsman or AIM Soldier thrown in there. I count 26 figures so far and 100 counts of Hasbro Greed.

I don't think this line warented that many closely resembling Iron Mans.

I appreciate the offer on the deluxe figures. I Have a buddy that is looking out for me.
And I will be hitting up TRU next week I have off, starting this FrydAY.

Yeah I really think they meant "case" instead of box set.

I've noticed so far only TRU around here has carried the IM comic series. Target has the movie & concept wave and Walmart only has the movie wave. I wen there today & found War Machine & light-up Mark VI.

and at TRU I found the DC/MOTU 2-packs. A friend of mine really wanted them so I bought them for him. Which is fine since I have all the figures, and although I know they're supposed to be painted in style of the comic, both He-Man & Skeletor have some pretty freakin' ridiculous paint apps. Pink stones on his belt?? Rowrr.

I did find the Mego-style GL & Sinestro for myself. Freakin' love these! Kind wish someone would bust out some Marvel re-issues.
I have a vintage Mego Spider-Man that's been sitting on my desk for over 10 years (I had to buy him, since he was such a hoot in the early ToyFare days!!)

Snuck out 2 display boxes from Walmart Figures 1-13 They did have 22-26 as well but I got those for $10 each at K-Mart




Thought I better get these before they start disapearing from shelves. Still $14.97

Ice Dagger $12.00 at Walmart I was waiting for that.



My friend came through and got me those Star Wars Deluxe packs 19.99! are they out of their mind?

And looks like I will have to hit up TRU after all For those DC/MOTU 2 packs.
There is always something I'm forgetting. There goes another $160.
