US Toy finds

Yeah beefcake's been a pegwarmer over here, too. The only others I really want from that wave is Alan Scott & Hourman. Maybe Gold if I can find him.

And I still haven't found any of the "K-Mart" wave, and they should've been wide released by now. I want my Manhunter dammit!

Oh crap.

I did manage to find a set and a half of the Walmarts this past week.

I never saw a GL 5 pack at retail.

I see it every now & then. Too much for me when the only figure I'd really want is Guy Gardner.
And if I can find just Kyle & Black Hand from the all-GL wave I'd be a happy camper.

Man I wish I could find it every now and then.

I wasn't happy with the $32 price tag or the apparant attempt/need to fix the lack of distribution of these figures from the first time arround. But I guess it's better than nothing. Maybe G Ghost will come down on e-bay now from the $100+

Are the K-Mart figures different than these other than the sticker?

I can't locate my K-Mart 3 pack photos, so I'll need to reshoot once again.

Nice haul!

I found the TRU Alien vs. Predator 2-pack & GL/Sinestro 2-pack before we left on our Xmas road trip.
Then while we were out of town I stopped in a Hastings and found the 6" Kick Ass figures on clearance for $7.99 each.
Then at the local Wal-Mart they had an assload of IM2 Drones for $6 each, so I loaded up!

Nice, I still need 1 tan and 2 green drones.

The only thing toy-wise my wife was ever really into were Living Dead Dolls, so I found the Beetlejuice wedding dolls at Hot Topic today in time for her birthday.
Not sure how limited they are but the Halloween variants disappeared pretty quick.

I saw the new Tron 3" figures at Target.

They did a Quorra but instead of Olivia's face they sculpted her helmet...the one she wore for 2 minutes during the whole film.
Plus she didn't look very curvy, so I think I'll try to do a custom one.

I'm waiting for clearance to take those lights out of the their chests for customs.

$20 bucks at TRU on sale.
I don't know if they are trying to get rid of the old ones and not put these new ones out or not. One TRU had them out the other claims they arn't ready to do resets for the action figures yet. Same old balarcy for the past 17 years of collecting.
Anyway I was happy to get them on an OKay deal.

I got this off of Amazon.com for $45 + Shipping and a DCIC Prelude to Doomsday for $9.99 I hope this is the growing trend of over priced e-bay auctions.
















Star Wars, I gave up collecting the Animated and Legends line. I'm glad I did there is yet another sticker change to the front of the blister. I still collect the Vintage line and Box Sets and some vehicles though.

Well they are regularly $30 here so when they came up $19.99 I was like Hot Damn!

That Yak Face is making me drool! I only have the Tri-Logo carded one.

And I had always read about the mysterious "Uzay Blue Stars", but had no idea they actually made it out to the general public.
Whoever's collection this was...the guy must've died or he has a very, very bitter ex-wife.

That really is impressive. I've never seen some of that stuff in person before and I've been to a fair few conventions.

Only have a tri-logo Yak Face? I'd be happy with a loose one. My pride and joy is my ROTJ carded IG-88, I couldn't justify paying out much more than that.

Maybe they bought out a competitor?

Actually there are at least 6-7 different Bootleg figures from Peru(?) out and about in the public.

I think he is one of the more rarer ones though.

I think the blue snowtrooper is an Uzay from Turkey?

I have a Friar Tuck from Robin Hood prince of theives figure, it was made from the same mould as the vintage Gamorrean guard, its not rare or worth anything but still an interesting item. I think they used bits of the Ewok village for that line as well.

yeah, the Sherwood Forest playset was basically a re-tooled Ewok Village
and the Robin Hood figure was made from the same mold as the Super Powers Green Arrow, which explains the G on his belt.

Also saw some of the DCUC Bane wave at Target. I picked up Jonah Hex & classic version Robin. Hex is one of their best figures yet!

Really? I keep looking at Hex and he's a bit meh for me but that's cool. Only wave of DC i wanna get now is the Young Justice figs. That cartoon is so awesome and violent.

That DCUC Bane series should be coming to me soon. I do all my ordering from BBTS now. And they e-mailed me a shipping notice.

I saw the Young Justice advertised on their site. I don't know if I want to get involved in yet another series of figures. Are they taking the place of JLU?

Did I see they are going to be two different sizes of the same figures?
