Yep. Lucas had zero budget for the cantina bar scene & Rick Baker did him a favor by lending him off the shelf masks & even played one of the aliens in the band, and then he replaced him with a green elephant thingy.



I like that when his figure came out they still gave him an awesome backstory.
Turns out he was secretly a rebel spy & hanging out in the bar looking for new recruits.
He even died a heroic death as a B-Wing pilot over Endor.

I'll still buy the blu-rays...mainly for the deleted scenes & classic docs.
Hell, I have so many goddamed versions of the trilogy in just about every single format, from my 1993 widescreen VHS tapes to the 1995 THX laserdiscs a friend of mine burned to DVD a few years back. The quality is much better than the "original theatrical versions" they put out in 2006.
Hopefully he still has them, I need blu-ray discs of that shit!

I went to a convention once and met one of the actors who listed as playing the part of one the cantina aliens, can't remember which one now but i think it was Hem Dazon. I excitedly asked him what it was like wearing the costume or something along those lines, and he said there wasn't one I just held up the head on a broomstick. And I paid the fucker £15 for his auto. Probably more than what he got for holding up a stick for 5 seconds.
