Good news: my comic book shop likes me so much they gave me free passes to the advance screening of Transformers 3 on Monday

Bad news: it's fucking Transformers 3

Oh well, might as well check it out. I don't think it's in 3D but since I wasn't going to really pay money to see this no big deal.

I want to believe it's better than the shitstorm of the last one. Hopefully better than the first one, which was Ok.

Not really looking forward to more of Shia's "OPTIMUUUUUUS!", or his new fugly fish-lips ho:

I suspect Bays reason for why TF:DotM sucks will be more entertaining than the film itself

They did give me a load of posters and cardboard cut out which I subsequently sold on for quite a delicious profit

Gol I agree on Fish Face, not a fan of hers and it annoys me that Bay's films only main attraction are the women as suppose to well? the whole fucking film

He could try to blame it on the writers strike again but I'm not sure anyone would believe him this time round (of course I suspect nobody believed him last time round either)

Fish face woman looks like someone just stuck a wig on Titanosaurus.

Thankfully it was way better than the clusterfuck that was the last one.
The first hour was more silly comical crap, but thankfully way less of it this time.
The second half was the full-on crazy robot smashy-smash action. And that's the part that was actually fun to watch this time.

I couldn't quite get over Rose-Huntington-Whatever's fugliness, though. If he had a cute hipster girlfriend like Kat Dennings it would've made more sense. And that accent sounds fake to me. And there's one scene where she's surrounded by all the destruction with this "duh?" look that actually made me LOL.
John Malkovich, Frances McDormand & Alan Tudyk (Wash from Firefly) have nothing to do in this one but act like they're hopped up on meth.
McDreamy is in it too, and made for a pretty convincing douchebag.

We actually got to see it in 3D, which looked pretty good, although if you see it in 2D you won't miss much.

I'm glad I saw it free, but if you're paying, the destruction parts (people actually get vaporized!) and the Autobot/Decepticon rumbles give you your money's worth.

It ends with all the Decepticons either blown up or ripped apart.
Megatron, Starscream, everyone dies.
The way Prime rips out Megatron's spine then decapitates him, that shit was pretty fucking hardcore!
Bumblebee ripping up Soundwave was pretty sick, too!
And there's no end credit suprise this time, so it looks like they're dead for good, which means either they're done with the movies or I guess they could do a next one w/just Unicron...since Optimus & all the major Autobots survive


I'll say this too, I credit Bay for taking out the really stupid shit from the last one.
No more ghetto-bots, no more pissing oil, no more iron balls, and NO annoying Latino kid!
And I might be wrong, but I dont' think I heard Shia do his "No no no no NONONONOOOO!" thing. Although he does scream like a bitch a whole lot.
AND, what I was hoping for, he slows down the action shots so you can actually see them!

Was the 3d Cap trailer shown?

We saw the new Cap trailer, but it wasn't in 3D. Also saw Mission Impossible IV, the new Planet of the Apes trailer & Apollo 18, which looks pretty cool.

There's supposed to be a 3D version with the 3D version of DotM but that might just be in the UK release
