You live in the UK not Arabia. We've probably got the least amount of censorship in the world. Unless of course you want to watch black midgets having sex with farm animals.

UK censorship is actually some of the strongest outside of Islamic/ Communist countries. Some of it makes no sense, some of it is archaic & some of it is ill-concieved & vaguely written pandering to daily mail reading morons.

The good news is there have been a couple of court cases recently where juries have found in favour of defendants because the laws are unjust.

I'd really love to know what you would like to see in films to get some pleasure from them.

So what films have been banned/censored and why?

Well you can't see female ejaculation, fisting, "Humiliation" ie watersports for starters, hentai is edited, I couldn't tell you what BDSM/ S&M is edited however thanks to that massive ****** Martin Salter you have to be really careful what you watch as it could land you on the sex offenders register even if it has been passed by the BBFC.

& we aren't just talking about films, the pay to view adult channels are only allowed to show softcore edits.

You don't get it just because you don't like or don't want to watch, to read, to listen to something doesn't mean it should be censored, or it doesn't matter if it's censored, YOU AS AN ADULT are able to exercise your intelligence to make an informed decision on what YOU choose to watch, to read or to listen to but you don't have the right to make that decision for any other adult.

I don't believe in censorship of any kind. As long as what's being done or shown is being consented by both parties then it should be ok. No thir party has right to tell you otherwise.

Well actually you're right, I don't have the right to tell people what they can and can't watch. But I fully support the other people have been given right to censor films and TV, part of the aim to protect innocent children and vulnerable adults. So aim your pissy vitriol at those who make up the rules not me.

You have to take a back seat and think about what it is that they're censoring and ask yourself do I really want to watch necrophilia, rape, torture, paedophilia etc? Seeing as you're so passionate about your cause then the answer must be yes.

So on that note and for the benefit of my sanity, I'm off.

There is plenty in place to protect children & vulnerable adults classification & parental locks are there for a reason add a little common sense from their primary carers & nothing further is needed.

I don't need to want to watch something to think it shouldn't be banned for example; I have no interest in watching female ejaculation but unless someone can give me a damn good reason otherwise I don't see why it should be considered an act deserving of being banned, same with watersports, or fisting or consential S&M acts.

& I most certainly am aware that just because it's something I'm not interested in doesn't mean I'm not aware that next time it could be.

I saw it last night. I didn't enjoy it, even though I really wanted to. It had the feel of a tv show and seemed lazily put together.
