| I'm one of those people you've been warned about...I actually enjoyed ID4.  His Godzilla, on the other hand, was a total sacrelige. And I haven't seen Day After Tomorrow. This looks like it could be good, if not just for the effects and the Deep Impact-style cheesy sub-plot of relocating a chosen few of survivors into space. Speaking of Deep Impact, I'm pretty sure this is the only the second movie to depict a black president, and both of them involve a global disaster. wtf??  | |

Man I haven't seen 5th Element in ages. And I'm ashamed to admit I've never seen Idiocracy, even though I've heard nothing but great things about it and am a lover of all things Mike Judge. | |
