That was a relatively common feature until safety standards put an end to it, transformers had Sparkabots & Firecons, Toybiz did an Electro-spark wave of Spider-man figures & Chamber from the Generation X line & the Human Torch from the FF cartoon lines had the same feature.

I was in 7th or 8th grade and over at a buddy's house one time and he wanted to play army men. I was like "wha"? Army men are for kids. Then he told me we were playing with a brick of inchers...suddenly it became interesting. Nothing like tying 6 fire crackers together to create a nice size bomb.
