I'm not ashamed to say I love the hell out of ET.
The thought of a poseable ET figure on the same level as their Gremilins...fuck yeah, bring it!

I also heard that when the blu ray comes out next year, not only will the original, unaltered version be included but rumour has it Spielberg might do away with the "special edition" where he replaced the guns w/walkie talkies & replaced the word "terrorist".
Fine by me if it's true. The CG-ET they used for the deleted scenes looked like shite anyway.

On the DVD they say how a sequel was in the works with a female ET returning with him to earth. But in the end Spielberg decided against it & everyone agreed no sequel would be made.
Good to see he has some integrity. Now if only it would rub off on Lucas.

A sequel wouldn't have worked once its been done then that's it. Its like the cocoon sequel it was shit.
