I got this today!

Its WWRp Armstrong, by 3A toys.



I've been after one of these babies since I saw them at a convention back in July but couldn't afford it, still can't but what the hell.

I can't begin to describe how cool it is, the paint apps are the best I've seen on anything. I still need to unbox and have a play then I'll get the missus to do some pics later

Where are these thing originally from? A comic?

Its absolutely awesome!! Look at the detail on it!! was it pricey?

Its from a graphic novel called World War Robot by Ashley Wood. I've not read it but plan to get it at some point.

It was £46 inc P&P from these guys . I don't think that's too bad considering they are high end toys.

7 inches high. I don't think its 7" scale. I'll do a comparison a bit later

I love Ashley Wood's stuff. The Sideshow Popbot statue is still the pride of my statue collection.

I'd get more of the WWR stuff but they're pretty expensive these days.

They're been sold through Sideshow in Europe now, so there's an extra link in the chain who'll want their cut.

Forbidden planet are going to be selling them and immediately there is a £20 price increase

I found my Armstrong on the floor the other day broken

The kid walked in to what I thought was an earthquake proof shelf and knocked it off. One of the fingers broke off, although its intact its a bit loose. Worse than that a bit of plastic snapped off the nozzle on the backpack. It could be glued back on I guess. I don't know what would work best with vinyl, obviously not superglue - any ideas?
