Meckaneck has to be one of the most useless abilities on Heman's side.

I'm sure it has uses. Letting He-man know if Teela is in her bedroom or not is one of them.

There are 4 possible reasons for allowing Meckaneck to be a Master.

1. He makes a better Human Shield than Orko.

2. With his long neck & enough room for recording equipment on his helmet/ goggles he's great at ensuring the other masters get to see Teela relaxing in the bath.

3. His extendable throat means that he's the Heroic master of Deep Throat for those masters who have no interest in Teela's bath time habits.

4. His neck makes a great bong.

I have way too much time on my hands

I just think his long neck makes his head more accessable to be lopped off.
