Hmmm,

I have to say, I like some of the visuals I'm seeing there. A lot of it looks very Howard/Frazetta-inspired.
There'd better be some god damn titties in there, too!
And I'm still concerned with the dude they picked for Conan. He seems like too much of a meathead with none of the charisma that made Arnie the perfect choice, even though the guy technically looks more like the character from the books/comics.
I'll give it a chance, I think. No more 3D, though. I've swore off it when it comes to movies originally shot in 2D. It's more money, and never worth the effects.

This is one I'm looking forward to, at the very least it can't be worse than Conan the Destroyer

I saw it this weekend. I liked it, but it could've been waaay better.

The cast was fine. Momoa actually makes a pretty good Conan. The visuals were pretty cool, too.
Problem was the story just wasn't all that interesting. It's really just another play on the Arnold film (getting revenge for his father's death while rescuing a damsel).
They briefly mention The Tower of the Elephant, one of REH's great Conan books. I would've killed to have seen a badass film version of that!
