It's a rental
Also where the heck is the Green Hornet theme in that trailer, that would've sold it to me:

nah, I pass.
Too much slapstick, and Rogen is a terrible choice. The money's better spent on the original DVDs w/Bruce Lee as Kato.

Well, I went with a friend tonight to see it.
Not bad. Actually pretty good. I liked Michel Gondry's visuals. And yeah, it had some pretty good action, too. Jay Chou was the shit as Kato! If you've never heard his music before look him up, pretty cool stuff.
It'll probably be better than a lot of the other superhero shit that gets thrown at us this summer, so go ahead & check it out. But save some money & see the 2D version. We did, and since it was shot that way it looks like we didn't miss anything by skipping the 3D.

I had a feeling ti would one of those fun films when I saw the trailer, I have since seen it (Download) and I loved it!!
Gonna get it on Blu when it comes out
As for the cinema? I am officially done with them. I have a kick ass system at home and a big ass TV and since watching Inception on it I seriously get the same joy from that as going to the cinema. So i'll keep my £8.50 and buy 10 microwave popcorns that taste a million times better than the stale crap I get at the pictures for the price of a house.
3D is something I'll never see until it becomes standard TV
sorry to sound like a bitter old man but getting ripped off is my biggest pet peeve after bad driving and domestic violence

Nah, I hear ya.
I've got a nice set up at home, too. Plus between work & taking care of a baby my free time is precious, so unless it's something really worth seeing or if it's a geek night with the guys, I've got that good ol "wait & Netflix it" attitude. I've been burned with shitty 3D conversions too much to waste anymore money on them. I will say I fell in love with the D-box seats. Ever since we saw Tron in one I've been wanting to get the home version!
