| Now that we've all busted our nuts over Iron Man 2, what else are you looking forward to seeing this summer? What will you avoid at all costs? Me, the next movie I'm waiting for is Toy Story 3...followed by Splice, then Inception, Predators, Machete, Jonah Hex, Survival of the Dead, Pirahna 3D, Resident Evil: Afterlife, The Expendables, Scott Pilgrim vs the World the rest... I hope Shrek 4 is at least fun. I loved the first 2 but 3 was kinda weak. Robin Hood looks like a boring misfire. I'd rather they went ahead & stuck with the original idea of the story of RH through the Sheriff's POV. I hope Prince of Persia suprises me...but it probably won't a lot of others look so lame I'm just gonna skip...like that horrible Tom Cruise/Cameron Diaz movie, whatever the fuc that new Juila Roberts movie is about I know I'll get roped into seeing Twilight Eclipse. Maybe it'll be halfway decent with the whole vampire vs werewolf thing going on this time. I friggin' hate they recast Victoria. At least she was hot to look at. And thankfully I think I might get out of seeing Sex in the City 2. My wife saw the preview and even she thought it looked bad. There's part of the storyline she just doesn't have a good feeling about. Something to do with Sarah Jessica Horseface cheating on her husband with some dude she meets in the desert. so YAY so...what say you guys? | |

| the next film im looking forward to I'm watching on Wednesday it's called "Four Lions" and it was created by the comic genius that is Chris Morris. I cant wait then there is, Toy Story 3, Harry Potter, The Expendables, the A-team (yes i know but it looks fun), The last airbender, Scott Pilgrim. Of all of those I am most likely to only see Harry Potter and the A-team in the cinema It's too expensive to see films here now so I pick and choose very carefully LOL | |

| It's a dark western featuring a disfigured anti-hero very much in a clint eastwood outlaw Josey Whales, man with no name vein with occaisional horror undertones, unfortunately the trailer suggested it would be more like a western version of Van Helsing | |

| some reviews...
Shrek 4ever After - we saw the 3D version, but not imax. We all thought $16 a piece was waaay to much! Honestly we could've seen it in a regular screem and saved the $3.50 per ticket. Even though the transfer quality wasn't shitty like CotT, it didn't add anything at all to the movie. And I really resented the 10 minutes of 3D commercials we had to sit through before the previews started. About the movie...in the end I liked it better than the last one, but still nowhere near as funny or as adult friendly as the first two. Soundtrack wasn't as cool this time, either. I found myself oddly identifying with the story, though. Sure there are times I wish I could spend a day living the toy buying, pot smoking slacker life like I did 10 years ago...but it's got a good message in the end. Be happy with what you have or you can lose it!
Exit Through the Gift Shop - an EXCELLENT documentary on the anonymous graffitti artist Banksy. I love his stuff and this was fun to watch!
Survival of the Dead - George A. Romero's latest zombie movie...sad to say, but it was AWFUL! Seriously, it was sooo lame. Not scary, boring story, lame CG effects, and terrible acting. I can't believe he actually directed this. There was nothing fun about it at all. Just about everyone I saw it with was disappointed.
Nightmare on Elm Street - meh. Not a terrieble remake. Not a great one either. And it IS a remake. Some of the kills are note for note taken from the original. Only this time the kids aren't likeable & strong characters, just wimpy emos you want to get slashed anyway....and even though I think Jackie Earle Haley is awesome, he's no Robert Englund. I hope there's no sequel. And I hope Platinum Dunes just fucking stops already!

| I have no intentions of seeing any other films in the cinema. The major price hikes have put me right off now for good. £8 ($12) to see a film? or pay roughly the same for the DVD? not a tough choice really The trailer for Shrek 4 didnt convince me it would be good so i reckon it is time to bury that franchise once and for all. The prospect of meyers doing another Austin Powers fills me with dread too considering how awful the last one was (Beyonce cant act for shit) The Exit film i'll check out on dvd seeing as you say it's kick ass errr...that is all lol OH if you get the chance Gol try and Download "Worried about George" it was a TV film about Boy George just before he made it big and just after when the bands days were numbered. Honestly it's one of the best Films i've seen this year | |

| Saw Jonah Hex and it was awful.
Josh Brolin and the Mastodon music were about the only thing good about it.
A dumbed down, PG-13 version of a great comic book sullied by Megan Fox's dead-eyed "acting".

| Finally got to see Splice, and it's really good. Think Species meets Frankenstien and more creepy. I used a free ticket from my Regal movie watcher card, so it was a win/win deal. Otherwise be sure to check it out on DVD. I've got Eclipse night with the mrs. tomorrow. Pray for mojo! | |

| aww, thanks guys. I'm touched. No dice, though. I still got stuck watching it. Meh, more of the same...lame acting, terrible story. At least this one had more action. The vamps vs. wolves thingy was entertaining for a few minutes. Thank the maker there's only one more shitty movie, but of course they're gonna stretch it out to two parts. Speaking of, they showed the new Harry Potter trailer and afterwards I screamed out "oh man I wish I was watching that instead of this shithole crap". I got a few laughs, but mostly shushes & gasps. My wife was soo embarassed. | |

| I think there was maybe one other guy in there besides me which brings me to this... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dMDC76D9l94 a call to arms for any man who has balls to go see The Expendables in a theater when it opens. I love how they cut to a random black girl & says "Oprah loves it" on the other hand, my wife returned the favor & saw Predators with me. She thought it was okay, but of course I spent the entire dinner conversation explaining the movie to her! | |
