Fuck Yeah!!!

A month ago i purchased series 8 DC (giganta) at a good price on e-bay and as with everything else on that place it was too good to be true. The guy's feedback got stung by assholes who never read his description and with 20 negatvies in one day subsequently shut down his account. Unfortunately for me it meant i had no way of knowing if id get my item or not. A month had passed (which is how long he asks for you to wait til you receive your item) and no items.

So i fired a resolution thingy in paypal with pretty much no hope of getting my money back without involving a lawyer. Anyway just a week after firing off the dispute i got my money back and thus my bad experiences with e-bay are reset to zero

I dont think im gonna bother with DC anymore TBH cos at £13 a fig they just aint worth it.

Glad you got your money back. Ebay is a lot better than it used to be for that sort of thing. In the old days you had to fill in a form and fax it off to Luxembourg to stand any chance of getting your money back. Sounds crazy I know.

The odd figure is worth it me thinks. There are a lot of characters I would of picked up in the old days just to complete a BAF, but like most people I can't afford to do that any more so only get the characters I know, hence only getting Shazam and Superman from the Kalibak wave.

Yeah that was 4 years ago. I never did get my money back on those figures. I've got free stuff out of other people at times to its balanced out in the end.

LOL I do that as well. Sod reading about them on wikipedia though, I nearly fall asleep after the 2nd paragraph.

tom ur realy done wit dc? I only buy an odd figure or two wave 9 is the first in a long time that I want the whole series. and if you are done I'd be happy to take your figures off your hands.

But they are far too difficult to find and ebay is a rip off so tbh i got better things to buy

My next big thing is the flurry of shield agents that ima get and then after that it's whatever tickles my balls. Most likely GI joe movie figs. THese are kick ass

Every day I swear I'm through with DC....until I find something I need.

I mostly want the Giganta wave for Giganta, but how long has it been and have yet to see any in any retail store.
And man 4 years ago I bought a lot of loose SW figures from this dude and after 3 weeks never got them. So I email him and no response. Then all of a sudden after numerous negative feedbacks his account is closed.
But PayPay kept saying I waited too long to file a grievance so there's nothing they could do. I was out fifty bucks and no figures.

the only time I ever came close to a situation like that was when I bought a dagger throwing variant 1st edition fotr legolas. that was the one and only time I ever bought with a check(the guy didn't accept paypal and the deal was to good to pass up). anyway the guy took almost 2 months to ship. his account wasnt closed but I left negative feedback then he leaves me negative feedback even though I paid within a week. it was a whole experience which was annoying but I didn't lose anything realy.

I thought i got screwed over once with the variant Rachel Summers because a month had gone and nothing then I opened a dispute with the guy he showed me the receipt of the item being shipped so there was fuck all i could do. Anyway 5 months later it showed up. the asshole put it on long haul shipping on a boat, which costs him peanuts. anyway, I just left a really bad Feedback cos he'd stiffed me (Only £5) on shipping and didnt know at the time you could get a refund on shipping

It must of sailed the long way round via Somalia

That happened to me as well a couple of times, I tend to get pretty poor service from US ebayers so I don't bother anymore.

Yeah, it really sucks cause they were vintage figures, and in the picture he posted they were in near excellent shape.

I got a Giganta off ebay. It took about a month to arrive. It didn't come with mini Atom, but I randomly got 5 blue stands, Kid Flash, and an old blue/grey Batman with hinge wrists.
Shouldn't this be in the toy section?
