Iron man 3

Just watched the trailer. Pleased Mandarin is in it but disappointed its Ben Kingsley and not someone like Ken Watanabe (ie asian)

I can't say I'm excited about it. The second one was shit and I only watched it twice as the missus hadn't seen it first time round

Ben Kingsley is strictly speaking part asian, it's just the wrong kind of asian

IMO The pure awesome that is James (Big Trouble in Little China, Blade Runner) Hong should be playing the Mandarin.

His father is of indian descent & his mother is british & he was raised in Manchester

He's only 13 years older than Kingsley & he is the right kind of asian.

TRAILER LOOKED GOOD (caps) I can't wait but Kingsley's track record in sci fi films is dire so let's hope there is redemption

I'm worried it has that Batman Rises Here comes Bane /(Manderan) feel to it.
It's seems like doom and gloom and the end of the franchise.

But yes I'm very surprised they actually put his arch villian in the movie.

If you haven't seen it My advice would be to not bother seeing it in 3-D. I saw in Imax 3-D (my local has imax) didn't blow me away at all. So 2-D is fine you ain't missing anything.

Well if you are pleased the Mandarin is in the movie, Your gonna be as Disappointed as I was. I Just got back myself, I heard Iron Man 4 is going to have Firebrand in it but instead of using Fire as his main power, He is going to find an alien spacecraft with an energy source of ten rings of power. Use them, and become Iron Man's Arch enemy.

His henchman will be an alien dragon named MODOK.

I agree a proper Mandarin would have been ace, and Sir Ben Kingsley was wasted in the role anyone could've played it in all honesty.

It would have been perfect to set up a Fin Fang Foom appearance in IM4.

I'm still bumbed, it may take years to get over this blunder.
