Wow, what a well done movie!

Everybody's acting has gone up a couple of notches (especially Malfoy), and FINALLY Alan Rickman gets some good screen time!
Yeah they changed a lot from the book, but not too much. The beginning where you actually see the attack on LDN instead of someone telling someone else about it was a pretty good idea, but the attack on the Weasleys home was obviously thrown in for the sake of action.
I still think they should've kept the end battle with The Order & The DA against the Death Eaters. Supposedly it was to build anticipation for the uber battle in "Deathly Hallows", but to me that's like leaving Helm's Deep out of Two Towers just because they want to save the fighting for ROTK. It should've been left in.
But the "SkD" scene was done well with only minor changes.
Other omissions I wish had stayed was the Tonks/Lupin romance subplot, and the flashback involving The Gaunts.

But all in all, it's easily the best summer movie by far. And make me wish I could see "Deathly Hallows"....like, tomorrow! cheers

It was good but not as good as the alst one. The end needed a bigger climax at the end it really lacked action AND the lil plots kept chopping and were all over the place

the acting and dialogue was flawless but it needed better structure/editing still worth watching though

My friends have been telling me how awesome the end was for years, so I was quite underwhelmed by the finale. Everything leading up to the underater Gollums, however was fantastic!
Luna Lovegood (how is she not a James Bond vixen?) wins at hats.
Harry admitting he's a t**ser, tricking Ron, and his luck spree made me like the character for once.
Hermione wiping her mouth with her sleeves seemed a Mugglish trait.
I totally thought Slughorn "collecting" students was going to be a euphemism.
Bellatrix and Snape win at life.
Tonks was even hotter in this installment.
The werewolf Death Eater looked like Liev Schrieber's Sabretooth and Dumbledore looked like Gandalf for the last 4 movies (neither of which is actually a plus, but whatever).
Why does murder split your soul as an unnatural act? How is murder more unnatural than any of the magic they do at school?
The cinematography was gorgeous.

Bill Nighy recently said "I'm not sure if I'm supposed to tell anyone this yet, but I think I think I'm going to be in the next Harry Potter." I think he should play an all-new character called The Duke of Awesome whose sole purpose is to partition the book into two movies. He can reprise the role for The Hobbit films.

Bill Nighy was pretty much destined to play Scrimgeour. Although his character was supposed to be in this movie.
