| Yo homies just thought i'd throw this thread and see how everyone is doing?
IMF how you getting along, are your pains all but gone?
Myself I have severe ligament damage on my ankle, so much so my leg is in a plaster cast. Never had that before for ligament damage. It couldn't have come at a worse time seeing as I finally got rid of the deathly grip that food had on me. I've managed to lose 3 st 6lbs so far (46 lbs i think) but this injury has slowed me right down.
Started taking Zumba classes (only bloke there its awesome...ish) and was on the rise at work. So currently this injury has set me back but hopefully only for another week.

| How did you hurt your ankle?
That's fantastic news that you've lost all that weight. It hard work but the results are well worth it. Have you got a particular diet or exercise plan?
When I lost weight the last time, I found calorie counting and a lot of walking worked for me, I'd tried other things which usually meant eating things I didn't particularly enjoy or exercise that I never stuck to for one reason or another. Glad you found something that works.
I hope you get better soon and carry on with your weight loss plan.
I'm fine now thanks, I've been clearing the garden with no major problems. I'm still regaining my fitness and having to massage a few knots now and then. Other than that I'm enjoying the spring, and sorting out some new plants - got some eucalyptus on their way, which should be interesting.

| Cheers IMF that's good to hear your pains have mostly gone!! With Eucalyptus trees make sure you sweep up the leaves as they are quite poisonous to animals and just incase your little girl tries to expand her diet I am on the Cambridge Diet which is meal replacement, shakes, soups bars etc. I chose to do it for health reasons in that my Knees were starting to really hurt and my back too. It's been 3 months (today I closed 3 months) so far. I trod on sunken pavement outside Islington station. It's funny now that I look back on how I was when I'd be home bored I'd eat all the time and now I'm even more bored because I don't eat crap anymore Zumba is the only exercise I do at the moment becase my calorie intake is so low that overdoing it may do me harm. When I get back to more calories I will up my exercise to swimming and walking and so on. | |

| Sorry to hear about your ankle, but glad you're getting the weight down. I know I haven't been here in a while. Things have been kinda hectic since the first of the year. First off, we're going to be parents again. Found out in February when my wife Jules thought she had the flu. We're still don't know if it's a boy or girl but the new pooper is due August 22nd. Our baby girl turned 3 and is still amazing us everyday. Work's been kicking my ass, too. I got a nice promotion & the extra money has helped since we've been remodeling our house. We decided not to move so we're basically adding some kitchen space & widening the bedrooms, including a new bedroom for my niece, who's now living with us full time. She'll be a senior next year and has already making plans to attend UT when she graduates, so when she moves out we'll make the room for our new arrival. Plus we built a pool. I made sure it was ready for this summer. Can't wait, it already looks so kickass! No SDCC or Celebration VI for me this year. In fact I'm sure I won't be going back until our kids are old enough. Gone to a lot of live shows this year, though. A couple weeks ago I saw Jesus & Mary Chain & got Garbage tickets for the 20th! Dude that's so cool you're doing Zumba, we signed up for classes a few months ago and I literally thought I was dying. I only went twice. | |

| Gollum It's so good to hear from yo mate. I was wandering what the heck happened to ya. Fantastic News about Baby number 2 and I can;t believe Your little girl is three already!! Congrats on the promotion, that is awesome. So your niece is back living with you guys again? I hope everything's alright Nice to hear she's heading off to Uni soon, What's she gonna study? Thanks for your concern mate. The ankle is out of its cast but still hurts a bit if I'm on it too long. Zumba is fucking awesome, I've always loved dancing and hated working out so this gives me the best of both worlds Sadly I have to wait another 5 weeks before I can return FUCK! You gonna have withdrawal symptons not being about to geek out at SDCC Oh and I applied for a promotion at work, the money still sucks ass but it'll look good on CV/Resume *finger crossed* | |

| Thanks guys! Yeah the school she's going to now is only a few blocks away from us, so she decided to move in with us. Plus her mom got remarried so she felt kind of akward being there. She's planning to study music & literature & is hoping for a job as library curator. Right now she's working at Charlotte Russe, a fancy clothing store in the mall, and really loving it. I'm also looking to buy an arcade game. Not sure which one yet. Pac-Man seems to be the most common & affordable, but I'm kinda holding out for either The Simpsons game or X-Men. I really want a pinball game but the cheapest one I've seen is over $2,000 There's a place outside of town that sells new & used coin-ops so I might drive by there some weekend. Plus there's a club, Joystix, that is open the 1st & 3rd wknd of every month & all their games are for sale. | |

| I play MAME roms they are free to download. I'm working on my garden have been every weekend for the past month. I've cut down a couple of trees, dug up two beds and numerous tree and shrub roots. I've spent £20 on animal manure this last week which will be used to rebuild the soil. The rabbit has been helping too bless him. Got some new plants and a massive plant pot. I'm going to plant a bamboo in it which will be used to screen out my next door neighbour. | |

Dude you have to get the simpsons AND the x-men arcades I'm same IMF I used MAME, don't anymore cos I rinced the fuck out of it That manuer's gonna help those plants grow nicely, you should plant a plumb tree, last two years (only had it in for 5) it gave us plums. Planting strawberries for next year I got my PROMOTION!!! Wooooooo!! Only bad thing is they are moving me to the other site (we have 3) but I see it as a new challenge and keeps my interest fresh
