You might want to check out Diners, Drive Ins & Dives, the host pisses me off but some of the places he goes to look great.

I really didn't get on with US food the last time I went. I found all the food really salty and had odd tastes to it. The only food I enjoyed was McDonalds and a chinese.

Ditto IMF I didn't really enjoy the food in the US either. found it too processed and everything has so much fucking cheese on it. Apart from their breakfasts, they were awesome i must admit.

Yeah they are minus the bacon which is bloody awful.

Its not much different here to be honest, most places serve stodge you wouldn't feed your dog and charge a fortune for it. I've finally found an excellent chinese takeaway where I live. Its only taken seven years of trying every place there is.

I really want to go to Italy or Greece to sample the food, I love olives, couscous, fish, and fresh ingredients in my food. I have a conception that people there genuinely care about what they put on a plate. I think they'd be the best places to go for that.
