Smart phones

I got fed up with my old no nookie nokia phone, realiable as it was, I couldn't surf the internet and couldn't use any apps that everyone else is using these days, couldn't do shit apart from phone and text. My nan probably has a better phone than me. My contract was up so I ordered a samsung galaxy S2, it has cool features, like 1080p video recording and hdmi out so you plug straight in to the TV, 8MP camera for upskirt fun on public transport and other things. And its cheaper than a iphone 4s or 3GS for that matter.

what are you running?

I have a samsung 1G I use it for making phone calls and that is it. I can take photos but don't know how to send them as I am afraid to log onto the web and get charged $49.99 with some hidden fee. I don't know how to set up my e-mail account. I don't like when people send me text because I get charged per text received and sent, and even more when I send or receive photos through text. I like my bill at or around $49.99-50.00 a month. I don't have unlimited text because my bill would be around $75. I went to Best Buy when my phone battery finally died and I asked "do you have anything that makes phone calls?".

I had one of the 1st smartphones from HTC several years ago and it was beyond shit, so I went back to nokia to get a phone that worked and didn't freeze up every ten minutes.

Your contract doesn't sound like a good deal. Here we can pay £40 a month and get unlimited phone, text and data and don't get charged for receiving. My new phone is free and I pay £21 a month for 50 mins fee, 250 free texts and 1.5gb of data - I went for the high data tariff so I can I'll use skype or some other VOIP service and instant messaging instead of text. Plus I'll do that over my wifi connection at home or at work and that'll save on my bill too.

God Damn Al that has to be the worst Tariff i've ever heard of


I've got a HTC Desire HD. Its delicious. My tariff is £25 a month 1500 minutes free (other networks) 3000 minutes 3 to 3 (name of the company) unlimited text and unlimited internet. They gave me that deal just as I was about to sign with O2

That's a good deal. I switched from Virgin who couldn't give a fuck what I did.

No I don't. I mostly play word puzzles or chess (i fucking suck at chess) One of my students at work is awesome on my phone. He plays a game called phitdroid and he's got up to level 1300

The phone came today, I was playing angry birds on it 30 mins later. And 2 hours after that I was still playing, its addictive. I love the phone its a massive improvement on my old one

Angry birds is impossible to put down! I have every single one ever made and completed them all
