I'm glad its San Andreas again as the maps were perfect. The first thing I'm doing when I get it is finding a way over the airport wall to nick me a plane.

The character moved so sluggish in gta 4 and red dead which compared to games today i.e. infamous where Colt moved with beautiful ease and quickness and doesn't stuck on a bloody corner

on a side note I bet its Vice City next

I forgot about Vice City, I'd love to see them do another one. That game was nuts.

SR3 has got a couple of fantastic reviews so far, only negative that its a bit short. I'm gonna get it to tide me over until GTA 5

*sigh* that seems to be the common theme with todays games, too short. Arkham took me 1 day to finish the main game.

The good thing with SR3 just like GTA is that you'll be playing it months after you completed the main game.

I would love a Vice city update, it wasn't my fave of the gta series in terms of city, but the characters were epic and the epic ramp jumps it had for your vehicles were superb!!

One thing I could never fault the gta series on is storyline. Especially ballad of Gay Tony. I loved that storyline!

True. I've completed pretty much every X360 game I've ever bought. And completed next to nothing on the SNES and PSX. I think its deliberate in some ways, cos you get the sense of achievement at completing a game and you happily go and buy something else.

Going back further, you could complete pretty much any Master System game in 30 minutes and they still set you back £30 22 years ago.

Funny you say about the prices. I'm amazed there is only a £10 increase from the 80's to now! I remember having to work my bollocks off doing chores and whatnot just to get a game and it would have to last me months.

The hardest game I ever played was on the megadrive and it was spiderman. fuck me it was hard, I never even clocked it, that and Ghouls and ghosts possibly the most annoying game ever made!

I think some of the NES games back in the day were £50. I didn't know anyone who had more than two games at anytime. We used to go and play them in Harrods and Selfridges when we couldn't afford them. I cleaned offices and worked on a market stall selling women's underwear to pay for mine

Gameboy games were affordable and not to hard to play so I used to get loads of them. I think that was one of the best consoles ever.

I used to get stuck on things like Shinobi and Altered Beast I didn't like those kinds of games. I was the bollocks on Desert Strike and Jungle Strike that was my kind of thing.

£50?! bloody hell, I don't remember Sega charging that I loved Shinobi! Shadow dancer was one of my fave games on the Megadrive and mate desert strike was AWESOME!!! good call on that.

Gameboy was superb, my original gameboy from the 80's still works. Tetris was the best game on it

Most things electrical things are easy to fix, I take ovens, boilers, PCs, DVD players apart and have a go. Most of the time its something simple.

Probably, it's the adhesive that stuck the screen to the GB that has worn off. But there's no point I've got a GBA & it plays Tetris & Bomberman while using less batteries.

Or you could run around pretending to be bomberman and use no batteries at all?

My local neighbourhood watch said that I'm no longer allowed to run around pretending to be fictional characters after the Captain America throwing shield/ old man's face incident
