| Aw man that sucks you didnt get the gremlin figs IMF all power to ya though.
£18 for legends? Are these companies stupid? Its why I stopped buying DCUC (unless I see a cheap loose one) Saddly i'll probably still buy them as I'm a sucker for legends...well the new ones at least. Hopefully we get some two pack repackaging as it was impossible to get a hold of the last batch that came out!
I'll pass on the TC's until the 6" classics come out!

| Well we don't entirely know if they will turn up at retail yet, hopefully they will & the price will be better, there really isn't an excuse for the price when 6" Thundercats are only £13 & the 8"er's are only £15. That said I will pick up the Steve Rogers figure Based on how enjoyable the 8"er's are I'll be picking up the 6"er's as well | |

| Sweet!! One thing I will never attack hasbro on is the Joes, they've got those mofos sowed. I might grab me some of the vehicles too.
Have you seen Renegades Duke when compared to the previous dukes? Fuck me he's a brilliantly sculpted figure, possibly my fave sculpt of the joes
Here's a great place for comparisons

| Seriously it's just a shame that arguably the best line Hasbro are doing isn't getting a wider release. Pick up the Vamp, that thing is awesome & it holds at least 9 figures. I prefer the Jungle strike Duke myself, but I do intend to pick up a renegades version. I use General Joes a lot myself as well | |

| I couldn't agree more!! but if i remeber correctly the sales have dropped for Joes all over, which is annoying as it would have dwarfed every other line I collect if they were available here. The Vamp is exactly what I had in mind looks awesome, that and the HISS tank Its a shame that Rengades got cancelled but tbf if I was Hasbro i would make more Resolute episodes as it was perfect. I think a lot of the old cartoons that flop on when remade, should get a revamp toward the adult market I only found general joes yesterday | |

| TBH changing the name from Action Force to GI Joe for the international markets had irrepearable damage to the brand imo, we know that there is a market for military based toylines with the popularity of HM Armed Forces, The Corps & the proliferation of Chap Mei stuff like Soldier Force now the question is why can't Hasbro work out to successfully sell them internationally? Can't speak for the Hisstank but the Vamp is great plenty of room for figures, customisation for the 3 detachable weapons, fantastic suspension & a fully loaded Steel Brigade Delta figure, well worth the however much I paid for it. You don't need it to be adult you need someone like Bruce Timm (although not actually Bruce Timm) to oversee it & it needs to be treated like JL/U mature but not adult. You also need things like decent video games, a GI Joe FPS that can match the likes of CoD & a 3rd person Stealth/Action game featuring Snake Eyes, Scarlet & Kamakura push the brand into other areas, increase brand visibility. TRU have a 3 for 2 offer on Hasbro figures including Marvel & Star Wars. | |

| did it do irrepearable damage? World peace keepers made two great playsets and have made some cracking vehicles have you seen their stuff?
I bought me the Vamp can't wait for it to arrive. These joes will give something to piss about with when I have a week off at Xmas (gotta love work)
TBF renegades was a bit like JLU/Thundercats etc as in geared for a young market but just didnt seem to clock with the audience or networks. I still say go with resolute it'll works out better for them

| Personally I'd say it did the term GI Joe has no connotations outside of the states which is why when the original 12" GI Joes were brought over here by Palitoy it was renamed Action Man, The attempts at reviving the line with Venom vs Valor / Spy troops didn't get past a couple of hard to find waves over here so much so they didn't even bother with Sigma Six or 25th Anniversary outside of some specialist shops that had to import them. I have seen it I haven't convinced myself to by any yet same with the TRU heroes stuff from Toys R Us. I do want this though The Corps Sky Raptor it looks semi decent: | |

| I suppose the 2002 Joes didn't have anything to market with them (cartoon) which has sadly left a bad taste in retailers mouth. But given that the movie figs sold really well I'm surprised they haven't carried on with the 30th. Its so dull for toys in the UK Yeah the TRU hero stuff has some sweet vehicles too I might look in to those. | |

| We did get some ARAH cartoons on Fox Kids about that time IIRC at about 6 on a Saturday morning & the line had adverts airing but not enough retailers bothered with them in the first place for it to be of help. Probably not but we'll get some of the sculpts re-used but in a more movie style deco, they did it with the 25th & RoC. The sad thing is next year is the actual 30th anniversary. Apparently Hasbro said no actor likenesses for the Retaliation line, which considering Roadblock is one of the main characters makes me happy | |
