But these fucking costumes are UN-ACCEPTABLE




The Flash makes me want to vomit! And Superman looks like a Super Boy Toy.

And don't even get me started on the collars...and changing Batman's gloves & belt yet again.

I just hope this is only a one month thing. I really, really do.

Questions I feel need to be asked:

Cyborg needs a chin that big why?

What's with Hal's gun penis? Is he overcompensating?

Why the flying fuck is Wonder Woman still in that fuck-ugly costume?

Are V collars the new pouches?

& most importantly when will DC learn Jim Lee can't design costumes for shit?

DC thinks Jim Lee is their saviour. Apparently they also think it's 1994.

All they need is to hire Rob Liefeld & their journey into total crap-dom will be complete.

Kind of reminds me of why I stoped collecting current issues of Marvel when they killed everyone. And changed all their origins just to make every character relevant to 10 year olds.

The problem is with the rise of comic shops & the lack of newsstand availability of comics has lead to a massive decrease in new readers & that isn't helped by the current trend of decompressed storytelling.

As a friend of mine pointed out, it looks like all Wonder Woman has to do is look down & that choker could puncture her trachea.

And if he thought taking away Superman's red underwear would make him look cooler....fail, sir.

So far what's been confirmed:

Batgirl, Catwoman & Birds of Prey all get new #1 - Barbara Gordon is back as Batgirl so apparently Killing Joke & Oracle never happened.

Batman Inc will go on hiatus in August then all the Bat-titles will go #1 in 2012.
Dick Grayson back as Nightwing. Damian will stay on as Robin.
Batwoman's sticking around, too.

Kyle Ranier gets his own GL title, with Jon Stewart as his....sidekick.

It sounds like after Crisis when DC got to pick & choose what to keep & what to restart.

I may consider picking up the Fury of Firestorm, Captain Atom & OMAC (but only if its Kirbys version) of course I don't expect any of those titles to last past a year

THANK YOU!! I fucking hated most of his x-men costumes. You know, the ones taht people are obsessed about having as suppose to the Ultimates, New-Xmen or the current ones. GAH!!

They should be, but they aren't

Yeah the Lee X-Men costumes didn't age well. Even though they were used in the animated series & were basically my first introduction to X-Men it's pretty obvious the Byrne costumes were best.
I saw the yellow Jean Grey figure the other day & just shook my head.

Well my comic shop gave me a checklist of the relaunch titles I wanted.

Basically I'm only keeping Batman, Flash & GL. They'll be the least affected by the reboot. Basically they're staying the same, character-wise, just they'll obviously need to make some concessions for JLA & Superman, who are being completely re-written.
Swamp Thing & Sgt. Rock relaunches seem pretty interesting, so I'll try them out for a while, at least.

No more JLA & definitely no more Superman. I'm not interested in watching how everything I've read over the years no longer exists. (example: now Cyborg is in the JL & apparently was never in Teen Titans!)

Oh yeah, the JSA never existed, either. Bastards

And since Hawkman & Firestorm are going back to the beginning, Blackest Night/Brightest Day kinda sorta doesn't matter anymore, either.

I think the only 2 titles I'm interested in are All-Star Western & possibly Demon Knights.
