LDN Wrestling

Last Friday I went to watch LDN Wrestling (WWE style bollocks) and I have to tell it was fucking awesome but for the wrong reasons LOL

Bad choreography, rampant homophobic chanting, acting so poor it was like watching Drama on ITV. But I loved every minute of it. I tell you guys if it ever comes to your area, go watch it. I guarantee you will die laughing and at £12 a ticket you can't go wrong lol

Highlight of the evening was when we were chanting "we want tables" and the heel in the middle of being in a submission hold, yells out "It's not in our budget" LMFAO

I work with 2 dudes who train at Booker T's gym & are part of his indie circuit.
They're gonna be doing their thing at this years ComicPalooza.

Awesome!! Booker T is one of my all time fave wrestlers. Shame they disraced him with a shitty storyline and then dumped him. Sucks!

I didn't like Booker T in WWF, he always did that silly thing with hand. I didn't get it.

Back in the day ECW was by far the best federation, with RVD, Sabu, the Dudleys etc. Shame it ended.

It came to Houston only once, back in 2000. It was a friggin' awesome show.
The Sandman made his ring entrance from our section & we got covered in his beer, then a fight between Tommy Dreamer & Rhino broke out right in our aisle!
Fun times.

And if you thought Booker T was bad in WWE, I remembered when he started out here in H-Town as The GI Bro! Then Eric Bischoff made him resurrect the gimmick when he was in WCW.
From what I heard Vince McMahon didn't really give much of a push to the people that were already established from elsewhere (RVD, Booker T, Rhyno, etc) because they were already booking their own matches & didn't have gimmicks that WWE could own the copyrights to. Plus they didn't kiss ass, so they kept getting held back big time.

The only wrestlers I've seen carry huge sucess from the other Franhcises is The Big Show and Jericho they came from WCW when WCW was at its height and have still kept going. You're absolutely right on Vince's actions it's why i don't watch WWE.

I watch TNA but it has gotten so fucking shit lately i want to rake my eyes out

I've tried to watch TNA but it's god-fucking-awful.

It's like everything that made WCW lame is happening all over again.
Eric Bischoff & Vince Russo basically do to wrestling what McG & Brett Ratner do to film franchises.
I just hate they're dragging poor Mick Foley down with them. I fucking love that dude.
