Well Liz Hurley is in the show so any hopes of it being good are out the window!

To be fair WW outfit has never really looked Greek to me. It's always had an American look and feel to it. Should have been the corset and some nice tight black jeans

I don't know what is worse the actress, the costume or the fact that Liz hurley's playing the "Evil Villain" (her words not mine)

So how many episodes do we think this show'll last

And the point of WW's Stars & Stripes outfit was the Amazon tradition of diplomacy of wearing armor in the colors of the country she visits.
At least that's how it was in the silver age.

The show is being produced by the guy that did both Ally McBeal & Boston Legal, two shows I happened to like very much, but how well does he know the source material, or is this gonna be straight up camp like the Lynda Carter TV show? (which I also love btw, have all the DVDs!)
And since NBC has had a record of putting on some shitty superhero-themed shows lately (Heroes, Bionic Woman, The Event, The Cape), I'm not holding out much hope

I hated Ally McBeal but fucking Loved Boston Legal, it had a brilliant less "ott pretty" cast plus it had the Shat in it

If only DC/WB can get rid of Joel Silver's control over the WW film rights they can start working on a proper kick ass story that would be as epic as Thor.

Louis Leterrier isn't that bad. I liked Incredible Hulk, but I don't think he had as much control over it as Ed Norton or Marvel did, and as bad of a clusterfuck as Clash of the Titans remake was, most of what he filmed was re-shot or re-edited.

But yeah, fuck Joel Silver. He flat out rejected Joss Whedon's WW script...so Joss said "fuck you" & moved on to The Avengers. Who's the dipshit in that picture??
