Yeah I had a pretty fun time.
Andy Bell from Erasure was DJ'ing at a club on the same night so me & the mrs. got to see him. Great show! He came out later & sang some old stuff then we waited around & got him to sign my Pop! box set.
The next night we had a big bash at a new arcade bar that opened downtown. Had fun playing old videogames (they actually had the Journey game!!) & getting wasted!

My wife got me a nice turntable, which I've been needing! And a membership to Jack White's Third Man record label club. $20 & you get a different 7" each month that you can't get anywhere else. And for joining you get cool shit like posters, 12" albums & a T-shirt. Plus you get pre-sale tickets to anyone on their label.
Which kicks ass becase next time Laura Marling comes in town I want to be close enough to show her my cockring of power.

From other friends I got a Muppets T-shirt, the BTTF Delorean minimate set & a JLA pint glass set

I'm starting to think that now. Everything seems overpriced for what it is, shouldn't be the case considering they make the hardware and the operating system. We get a lot of customers at work buying Macs only to find they can't access their email from it. Yet they can do exactly that from their iPhone.

Agreed. Apparently at CES there were about 80 tablet prototypes on display. I wouldn't get anything with Windows on it though cos it doesn't work well with a touch screen. MS seriously need to come up with something better than windows mobile or 7 for that market before they miss the boat.
