Mattel WWE figures Empty
PostSubject: Mattel WWE figures   Mattel WWE figures I_icon_minitimeTue Jan 05, 2010 7:19 am

I've been seeing these around lately & I have to say the quality looks a little better than the JAKKS figures. The only downside I've seen is they've replaced the fun accessories (sink, toilet, chairs etc) with display bases you don't really need because what kid's gonna pose them like friggin' statues??
So they really did show up on January 1st, and are in plentiful supply, which tells me Mattel really can get shipping dates on time if they pull their heads out of their collective asses.

Since I don't really follow wrestling much anymore I'll probably pass on these, unless they continue the Legends line & especially if they can get some guys JAKKS didn't get to (Macho Man, Sting etc).
I did watch RAW tonight because Bret "Hitman" Hart made his return. It was good seeing him back and ended on a cliffhanger.
Also flipped over to TNA & noticed they signed Hulk Hogan, other former nWo members & even Jeff Hardy (one of my favorites!), so it looks like the days of the Monday night wrestling wars are about to come back...but I doubt I'll tune in regularly to either once HIMYM & Big Bang Theory come back w/new eps.

I don't pay attention to wrestling figures other than for customizing.
Mattel limitted their articulation but at least they don't have those queer-ass facial expressions anymore. And yes lack of assessories suck.

Also found these by chance and something told me I'de better pick them up.

Yeah the ones with the belts are chase figures of sorts, I think.
I saw a Stone Cold at TRU but the package was pretty mangled and looked like it was deliberate. Rolling Eyes

I found Batista at TRU and Stone Cold at Target. I'm guessing everyone will have a Belt?
