| Just got back home and got some nice DVD deals @ Target
First off - True Blood season 1 for $24.99...how cool is that? If you have HBO there is no reason for you to not be watching this. A+ vampire show w/ lots of sex & naked Anna Paquin.
Then I picked up Transformers season 1. I already had the Rhino box set but this release by Shout Factory (who do the MST3K DVDs) is a nice upgrade. They've gone back & restored a lot of missing animation and nicely redid the sound. Plus you get a new documentary on the origins of the toys & TV show, plus some classic commercials (although with the kids' faces fuzzed out they look kinda sinister). All for $16.99 Great deal! They're also doing a re-release for GI Joe later on but they'll be selling the complete series in a special foot locker packaging at ComicCon so I'm def. gonna be getting that.
They also had DBZ S1-3 for $22.99 each. These are the latest releases with all the awesome uncensored footage. I got 1 & 2 and might to back for 3 just for the Freiza saga.

| Well I sure hope you guys get the uncut version. The blood & the titties are half the fun! Yeah it was def. a good weekend. Good DVD deals and I read where Michael Bay WILL NOT be directing Transformers 3. And the best news of all: My niece got out of the hospital today!! Three cheers!! | |

| ok first off that is excellent news about your niece mate. superb wow this gets better and better no bay for transformers 3 awesome. christ even uwe bowl would make a better director than that tit. I watched TF2 last night (not in the cinema) it was FUUUUUUUCKING dreadful. worse than the first one. GOD DAMN shakey cam!!! I seriously think the 3rd one should be a final big war on earth then take the next back to cybertron. There is no need for humans at all they were so irrelevant in this film. the robots had more life in them as for blood we should get the uncut here we always do | |

| It depends sometimes they do decent sales on the boxsets, a couple of weeks ago I picked up Chuck season 1 & The Incredible Hulk 5th season both for less than £18 each | |

| I'm still waiting for the 3-hour theatrical Grindhouse cut.
Oh and the Kill Bill "whole bloody affair", which combines vol 1 & 2 into one long movie.

| Kill Bill 2 is possibly one of the most boring films ive ever seen (not crap just really boring)
They should have been one movie. damn studio interference

| Got some Three Stooges fix at Borders. They're clearing out their CD/DVD dept. so I got 3 volumes w/Curly for $12.99 each.
And I noticed at Wal-Mart the price for Blu-Ray players are coming down. A pretty decent Phillips one can be had for under $200, so maybe after SDCC I can finally make the switch. Way cheaper than a PS3, which I've just about decided I have absolutely no use for. If I want to check out GOW III I can always go to my friend's house.

| Gol i couldnt agree more. The ps3 still doesnt appeal to me. After all this time the only game ive truly like was urban legend but if that comes out on the pc ill get it for that.
Blu rays are awesome too cos you can connect to the net with them and download films, you can wifi it to you pc and x-box etc it's awesome and it makes my nipples glow
